Hi everyone! Sorry for my long absence!! I have been unbelievably busy with term papers, holiday travel, and other various events as I end my last first semester (crazy I know!!). But I hope you all had a very happy holiday and have a healthy and safe 2012!!! I can’t wait to start new projects and have lots more time for RG! Thanks for sticking with me

So before we start 2012 I thought I would do a very popular post from other blogs and YouTube channels- What did I get for Christmas? Below are five of my favorite gifts that I received this holiday from my parents and of course Santa! What did you get that you LOVE?
1. Marc Jacobs Perfume Trio- This perfume trio is so cute! It comes with the three most famous perfumes by this iconic designer: Daisy, Lola, and Daisy eau so fresh. My favorite out of the three is probably Lola, but they all smell ah-maz-ing!! I adore this gift and think its totally appropriate for almost any age and is the perfect present for birthdays or other holidays (like Christmas)! PS how cute is the packaging?!?!
2. Urban Decay Naked Palette- This Christmas I finally got the Naked palette!! I have wanted this for so long because of, obviously the makeup, and I have heard nothing but great reviews for the product (Naked 2 is also out now! Check it out). This palette includes gorgeous eye shadows that range from bright to neutral and matte to neutral- aka the perfect palette. I can’t wait to try out different combos (there are 12 shadows)- I can tell this will probably be one of my favorite products of 2012!!
3. Affinity Diamonds Love Necklace- Another favorite gift is my new diamond Love necklace that my mom gave me! It is absolutely gorgeous and the diamonds are set in sterling silver. I can’t wait to wear this dressed up or casual- I just can’t get enough of it! It is hung on an 18 inch chain and is a perfect gift for girls of any age!
4. 7 For All Mankind White Straight Leg Jeans- These jeans are sure to be my new favorite pair! 7 For All Mankind is one my most beloved brands so I was beyond excited to get these Christmas morning! These will be my go to pair all year long and they fit me like I glove- they are also a longer than most jeans which is perfect since I’m tall and love heels!!
5. Juicy Couture Leather Gemlock iPad Case- Rounding out 5 of my favorite gifts is the Juicy Couture Gem Lock iPad Case. As most of you know, I am obsessed with my iPad (see my old case here) so I am BEYOND obsessed with this case. The leather is unbelievably soft (and I will totally use this as a clutch purse too)! The case is only available in brown now, but my case is in “Midnight Sea,” a very deep blue. Love it!
