Recently out, Maybelline’s newest product is ground breaking! Dream Bouncy Blush is exactly what it sounds like: a blush that bounces back to the touch! And since it has Maybelline’s famous “Dream” adjective in front of it, it’s bound to be soft and moose like. Not only is it a good price ($8.00), but the colors are to die for! These blushes are incredibly soft and super fun! I can’t wait to try out all the colors!

2011 was wonderful and magical year for me, and I hope it gave you all lovely memories to look back on. Some things that truly made it special for me was: my grandmother turned 90, I saw my favorite singer (Taylor Swift) in concert, my older brother went to college, I got into MY first choice for college, my mom reached her 5 years cancer free, and I reached my senior year of high school. Hi everyone! Sorry for my long absence!! I have been unbelievably busy with term papers, holiday travel, and other various events as I end my last first semester (crazy I know!!). But I hope you all had a very happy holiday and have a healthy and safe 2012!!! I can’t wait to start new projects and have lots more time for RG! So before we start 2012 I thought I would do a very popular post from other blogs and YouTube channels- What did I get for Christmas? Below are five of my favorite gifts that I received this holiday from my parents and of course Santa! What did you get that you LOVE?

1. Marc Jacobs Perfume Trio- This perfume trio is so cute! It comes with the three most famous perfumes by this iconic designer: Daisy, Lola, and Daisy eau so fresh. My favorite out of the three is probably Lola, but they all smell ah-maz-ing!! I adore this gift and think its totally appropriate for almost any age and is the perfect present for birthdays or other holidays (like Christmas)! PS how cute is the packaging?!?!

2. Urban Decay Naked Palette- This Christmas I finally got the Naked palette!! I have wanted this for so long because of, obviously the makeup, and I have heard nothing but great reviews for the product (Naked 2 is also out now! Check it out). This palette includes gorgeous eye shadows that range from bright to neutral and matte to neutral- aka the perfect palette. I can’t wait to try out different combos (there are 12 shadows)- I can tell this will probably be one of my favorite products of 2012!!

3. Affinity Diamonds Love Necklace- Another favorite gift is my new diamond Love necklace that my mom gave me! It is absolutely gorgeous and the diamonds are set in sterling silver. I can’t wait to wear this dressed up or casual- I just can’t get enough of it! It is hung on an 18 inch chain and is a perfect gift for girls of any age!

4. 7 For All Mankind White Straight Leg Jeans- These jeans are sure to be my new favorite pair! 7 For All Mankind is one my most beloved brands so I was beyond excited to get these Christmas morning! These will be my go to pair all year long and they fit me like I glove- they are also a longer than most jeans which is perfect since I’m tall and love heels!!

5. Juicy Couture Leather Gemlock iPad Case- Rounding out 5 of my favorite gifts is the Juicy Couture Gem Lock iPad Case. As most of you know, I am obsessed with my iPad (see my old case here) so I am BEYOND obsessed with this case. The leather is unbelievably soft (and I will totally use this as a clutch purse too)! The case is only available in brown now, but my case is in “Midnight Sea,” a very deep blue. Love it!

Happy thanksgiving to all my American viewers! I hope you all can be thankful for something today and have a lovely dinner with family and friends!

This year I am especially thankful for

1. My parents… who do so much for me like taking care and guiding me and sending me to a private school all my life and college in the fall. Love you!
2. The rest of my family… especially my older brother Reid. Miss you!
3. My best friends… who I do everything with. I don’t know what I would do with out them!
4. All the little things this year… the rain, the sun, my cats, my car, etc
5. And of course all my subscribers and viewers… get excited for more!

Starting today I am enacting a very new, very exciting line of posts called “Copycats.” These “Copycats” will give you all the makeup and hair and fashion ideas so you can embody your favorite celebs! Let me know what you think! Here’s the first official CopyCat Celeb Look: Ashley Benson AKA Hanna on Pretty Little Liars. First up is a how-to for her hair!

Hair: Hanna’s hair is a beautiful golden blonde color with slight low lights all over. To get her curly/wavy locks take a 2′ curling iron and wrap about 1-3′ pieces around the barrel for “corkscrew curls.” Remember, do not hair spray as you go! Once you have curled your whole head, flip your head over and gently pull your fingers through your hair as you are shaking them out. When you flip back over, you should have wavy hair so finally hair spray your hair (make sure you don’t have any straight pieces before this step). And that’s it for Hanna’s hair!

Makeup: Next is Hanna’s makeup! Her particular look is probably one of my favorites among the PLLs. To start, perfect your skin with your normal foundation/concealer routine. Then take your favorite bright blush (try Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Amused) and apply from the apples of your cheeks and blend to your hair line for a nice perky glow. Next for your eyes, apply an eyeshadow primer (like Urban Decay’s Primer Potion) and use your best dark brown eye shadow quad/trio (if you are in need a an awesome neutral palette check out Urban Decay’s Naked palette). Apply the darkest in your crease and “V” (outer corner). Next take a medium shade and put that all over your lid, carefully blending. Finally, take a pinky-champagne color and high light your inner corners and brow bones. Finish your makeup off with a pink gloss or balm (I love the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme! Try one in the shade Istanbul (a cool nude) or in Addis Ababa (a super bright fuchsia).

Fashion: Hanna is definitely the girly girl out of the PLLs. She loves ruffles, heels, and color but also a structured blazer and chunky jewelry. Here are two looks I think Hanna would love. One girly and one a little more edgy. What do you think?

Hi all! Sorry the headband post has been delayed but I haven’t been able to upload it (I actually had a complete post but it would only post the first sentence…?)!! So for now I just wanted to share the two makeup products I’ve been loving the past couple weeks.

The first is Covergirl’s LashBlast Fusion Mascara (about $8.00)! To me this mascara has the separating and lengthening power of the regular LashBlast combined with the thick and dramatic lashes you get with Maybelline’s Falsies Mascara. This formula is light and won’t flake during the long days coming this holiday season! Love this!

And the second product I’ve been obsessed with is Benefit’s Boi-ing Concealer ($19.00). This “industrial-strength concealer” does it all! From blemishes to dark circles this stuff has really got you covered. It truly does stay on all day long and blends very nicely on skin. It comes in light, medium, and deep shades so you can be sure you’ll find your perfect shade!
