The other, as I was flipping through Lucky, I came across a rather odd, but interesting manicure look. It’s called the half moon manicure, and may look complicated but is actually easy if you have a steady hand and two colors of nail polish. Start with one to two coats of polish all over your nails and then take the second color and carefully draw a half circle at the base of your nail. Once your satisfied with the shape of the half moon, fill it in with the same color. The end result is unusually pretty and unexpected.
Here it is in periwinkle and white, and black and white.
